Moringa Dried Leaves
Our Moringa is produced in the heart of Africa, in the plains of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It derives from a tropical plant called Moringa Oleifera, which has always been employed in traditional medicine. It is grown naturally through the FOODFOREST programme, which fosters and implements agroecology and permaculture.
Its leaves are harvested as soon as they appear and are immediately separated by hand by the groups of family farmers. After a first selection, they are brought to the transformation centre in Kalemie (Tanganika province-DR Congo), where the processing starts. During this process, only the best leaves are selected and put into our low temperature driers in order to dry out. After dehydration, during a third selection, the greenest leaves are pulverised and packaged in order to be sold in the international market. This is how our very fine high quality Moringa powder is produced.
